Matt is a former operator that has transitioned to a full-time angel investor and advisor. Currently, he is an active member of Launchpad Venture Group, SideCar Angels, 10x Venture Partners, and numerous Uber Alumni syndicates. His portfolio is focused on B2B SaaS, Marketplaces, AI/ML, and Robotics that typically have an offline operational or data collection component.
After completing a leadership development program at IBM, his business experience shifted into hyperdrive by joining Uber in 2011 (employee #33) as the first Operations and Logistics Manager for the Boston market.
He launched and scaled the Uber Black, TAXI, SUV, and uberX product offerings in the Boston market with the General Manager and Marketing Manager. Later leading the Operations & Logistics Analytics and Process sub-teams during hyper growth periods from 2011 through 2013.
